With Classic Quartz Stone being a very popular material to be used within households, we often get asked what the best ways to keep it clean and looked after. Therefore, we have put together a list of how you can care and look after your new Classic Quartz Stone whether it has been used as a countertop, flooring or somewhere else.
General Daily Cleaning
When you wipe down and clean your Classic Quartz Stone slabs on a daily basis you are best to use warm water and mild soap. Wipe over with a damp cloth or another soft, nonabrasive material.
Sharp Objects
While Classic Quartz Stone is incredibly scratch resistant, it is still strongly recommended by us that you continue using chopping boards and other protective materials to ensure your Classic Quartz Stone slabs are well maintained and cared for, to ensure a long life.
Spillages
With spillages being inevitable, you need to know the best way to combat any dried-on spills or spillages when they occur. For spillages or marks that have been there for a while it is best to use a soft cloth with warm water and a mild soap or detergent. When you are applying it onto the surface use circular motions and a nonabrasive cleaner to ensure that the surface’s shine is kept. Rinse thoroughly with water and dry.
Some Finishes Need More
If you have purchased a textured, mirror or honed finish then these will require more maintenance on a daily basis as marks such as fingerprints will much more visible. However, these marks are able to be easily removed with very little effort.
As long as you follow the above guidelines, your Classic Quartz Stone slabs should last for many years to come.
