3 Professional Cleaning Products for Quartz Worktops
Quartz is known for its stain resistance qualities which are making the worktops easy to maintain. This material is also very easy to clean in just a few minutes. However, some spills or stains can be tougher to remove than others. This is when professional quartz cleaning products come in hand and will make your life easier. 1. Rust Clean
This solution is great at removing rust stains and discolouration. For quartz, this solution is used with water. Mix the solution with it in 1:1 ration. Firstly wet the spot you want to treat and only then apply the mixture. Let the solution sit for 30 to 45 minutes, but don’t let it dry fully. Remove the solution with a bristle brush. All rust stains and discolourations should be removed. If there are still some left, repeat the process the next day.
The stain remover is a liquid paste that dissolves and absorbs wine, coffee and other organic stains. Firstly remove all the dirt from your countertops. Shake the bottle well before applying the solution. Apply a generous amount of the Stain Remover (approximately 1 cm thickness) onto the stain. Let it sit for 2-4 hours. Remove the powder with a damp cloth. If necessary, repeat the process.
This solution is used to remove all the grease and dirt from your surfaces. It is a low alkaline cleaner and degreaser. It will also prevent mould from harbouring. This solution is also mixed with water, only in 1:10 ratio for the usual cleaning. Mix the solution and then apply it to the surfaces with a brush or spray. Let the solution sit for 3-5 minutes and wipe it off with a brush.
The solution to water ratio depends on the soiling level of your worktops. If you need a heavier clean, the ratio should be 1:5. For a light clean, the ratio is 1:20.
